My name is Akshaya Gajula, and I have been a BILB student for about five years. During this time I was able to make new friends, learn something new, and get over my fear of performing on stage. I started to dance to try a new hobby. Through my time at BILB I was able to explore a variety of dance styles originating from India. When I first started here, I didn’t really know anyone. The environment dance company's welcoming environment made it easy to connect with the other students. Before BILB I wouldn't ever want to be on stage and perform in front of a large audience. Over time, my confidence grew on stage and I wasn't nervous. I have enjoyed my time at BILB very much and I would do it all again.
